So, apart from the chance to make friends with more than 120 other women in Ayala Alabang from all across the world, what does your ALIG subscription give you?

Monthly general meetings with speakers and topics aimed at helping you make the most of your time Alabang, and the Philippines.

• Newcomer welcome coffee mornings, open to expatriate and local newcomers and long time members alike.  All hosted here in Ayala Alabang village.  Plus a welcome pack when you first join crammed with useful information about Alabang and the Philippines.

• Access to ALIG’s electronic newsletter, packed with interesting articles, information and photos.

• Confidential access to the ALIG Yahoo Group with regular email updates on events, opportunities, items for sale and information postings, including the chance to submit your own requests and announcements.

• An annual copy of the ALIG directory, listing members contact details, useful phone numbers for expatriates and other ALIG information.

Your membership subscription helps cover ALIG’s running costs (no salaries, we’re all volunteers), such as the ALIG newcomer welcome packs,  printing, publicity materials and web hosting.  We charge nominal fees (Php200 for the general meetings and P100 for coffee mornings) for our regular events, many of which are held here in Ayala Alabang, so you don't need to trek into Makati to stay in touch. 

Our excursions are usually charged at cost and any profits from these and, of course, our fund raisers (annual dinner/dance, garage sales and book/CD sales) go to support our needy charities.

So, for the same cost as a bottle of wine, a little more than the departure fee at the airport or less than a visit from the pest exterminator, your ALIG membership fee can give you all this.

What’s more you get the chance to make some wonderful friendships that will likely be more satisfying than pest protection, give greater pleasure than the wine and be remembered years after you pay your final airport fee!

How Do You Join ALIG?

It's easy!  You could come to one of our Newcomer Coffee Mornings, or a General Meeting.  We typically have one every month, and they are hosted here in Ayala Alabang so won't get lost finding us!
